Hope someone got the number of that train. Very interesting location for a start with the train heading up hill.

Significant fuel preheating occurring with the direct slope and wind alignment. Not that any preheating is really required today.

That ridge road is accessed from Lytle Creek on Applewhite Rd.which would be at the toe of the fore slope. Spent a couple shifts between Lytle Creek and the Interstate in this very spot during the Blue Cut. Quite a few homes and campers in that area generally.
