BDC on scene of a Vegetation Fire near Old Waterman Canyon rd and Hwy 18. ME227 on scene reporting 30-35 acres light fuels, wind driven fire with a rapid ROS…

The fire is now over 100 acres and the East winds are just ramping up,

Mandatory evacuations on the Old Water Fire are under way for a portion of north San Bernardino near Mariposa Dr. and David Way.

Update from Air Attack. Sounds like they’ve got a good handle on it.

Flare up on this incident, threatening structures. BDC doing structure defense, sounds like some confusion as this came in as a new fire, and having a hard time getting the right freqs.

Heard an order for aircraft to return. 4 copters and 4 tankers.

AA12 and H534 off base. Didn’t catch the others.

Helicopter 534, helitanker 2HT with AA are all up over the flare up.

Command channel is BDF.

Tanker 72, 73 from Hemet, almost on scene, Tanker 10 from Ramona off base enroute, Tanker 107 from Fox, enroute soon
Helicopter 534, 305,2HT, 8HT
AA12, and lead.

Tankers were released from this flare up back to their bases.
