Large column visible from Soledad. BC4614 requesting 4 additional tankers, 1 additianal type 2 copter, 1 type 1 copter, 3 immediate need water tenders. Reports of hikers at Pinnacles park may be in danger.

per 501, fire is straddling 146, 8 acres west of 146 backing into heavy brush moderate rate of spread, 20 acres on east side of 146 20 acres, CROS. potential for 500 acres
Most resources entering Pinnacles off of 146 from the Salinas valley, Cal Fire and Hollister Fire units in San Benito are approaching from east side. Park ranger stating all residences on Park grounds have been cleared but unknown on possible hikers in area.
From Palo escrito cam fire is spreading south with valley winds. Fire appears to be .5 miles SE of the Pinnacles park entrance. Edit: ECC advising pinnacles admin stating all hikers are off trails
