IC requesting early up Air attack and copter, requesting 4 additional Cal Fire, 1 additional LG type 3, in addition to the two cal fire engines, LG resources at scene, units having difficulty gaining access. Reported to be in the area of an old quarry

IC requesting an additional strike team of engines, 2 additional crews and 2 water tenders planned need for this morning. A few units at the fire now, minimal fire activity but planning for extensive mop up with difficulty getting crews to the fire, 1-2 acres

From Ca Fire Scanner: AA460 briefly surveyed the fire & has it as 20 acres w/ potential for 300 acres. 4 air tankers ordered & should be ready by 08:00.

Definitely will be/Is hitting some terrain that hasn’t seen fire in some time.

IC just reported significant wind change, requesting 2 type 1 strike teams immediate need. Fire burning back towards the Salinas Valley

Yep. Like clock work everyday at 1:30 its slightly calmer when we have powerful high pressures present but once it diminishes its on.

IC added a couple more strike teams to his request…guessing its going to be tough to fill. Now no divert on ALL tankers, life threat with firefighters doing evacs

No divert on all tankers, for life threat. Fire is getting down in to the structures now.

Also correct going to be difficult to get out in front of this when and if it starts running parallel the valley after its out of its shelter.
