3:36PM The fire is now approx 18 acres per Air Attack. 2 additional air tankers requested for a total of 4. Have retardant up one flank.
3:31PM Air Attack overhead reporting 10 acres w/ moderate rate of spread in grass & brush, potential for 100 acres. 1 structure in the area but not immediately threatened.
3:25PM Vegetation fire w/ smoke showing on cameras, full response en-route.

It is a BEU incident. There are SLU assets at the fire, TD3442 and WT89 (Camp Roberts), plus aircraft and AA out of Paso Robles air attack base. Some of the BEU engines responding were cover to SLU. SLU sent two type 3 (Charlie) strike teams to RRU yesterday.

The fire is now approx 30 acres per Air Attack. Have retardant up the left flank & now looking to put some across the head of the fire.

Air attack cancelled the 4th tanker. Holding T74 and T03 load and hold at Paso. T75 just loaded and will hold in the pattern above the fire per AA.

The fire is 30 to 35 acres & there is now retardant around the fire per radio traffic. 4th tanker has been cancelled, continuing remainder of response.

This is a good catch, if it would of picked up some more steam this could of easily went 500 plus acres.
