Will be interesting to see what this does with the wind and current FM’s at 92%.
Motor home well involved… nothing at scene yet.

Nothing showing on the cam anymore, guessing they got it out?
Repurposing this thread for a PSA.
The 2022 Butte Cal-TREX is going to be running on weekends for the rest of October on private lands in Cohasset, and also, on the Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve. This is a training event focused on developing the leadership skills of current and future prescribed fire practitioners. It is supported by many agencies, including Cal Fire’s Workforce Development grant program. Today we hosted an RT-130 and pack test for about 50 participants, and the next two days will focus on tactical leadership.
If anyone sees a little smoke from the ridge, as part of scenarios on firing techniques and water handling, we are planning to put fire on the ground on a couple small (1/20 acre max) plots on Sunday. This is happening in a unit burned this earlier this spring which is surrounded by roads and firelines, with permission and permits from CAL FIRE, who is a partner in our efforts to build local capacity for citizen-led prescribed fire efforts. CAL FIRE would like us to remind people that there is still a burn suspension in effect.
