75 Acres in the Oroville area. That’s all I have.
Is this the rice field fire or in the Wildland?
Rice field in the Nelson/Richvale area, Nelson Rd and Durnel Dr. When IC said it was 75 acres, he also said it was holding between the roadways but would probably burn 100-150 acres before it was finished. I could see the column from my house earlier, but it has dissipated now.
On the old site we didn’t usually post about ag fires, roadside/nuisance fires, or anything else without potential for damage or major spread. Is there any similar policy on this site?

Fires in the LRA are posted all the time. It may not have a direct effect on you- but it does not mean it does not have a direct effect on someone else. I was not aware there was a “damage” threshold for posting…
