On centerville rd, north of honey run west of maglia. Just getting info. Heavy brush estimate 20 acres. LNU just sent imm. Need ST
Tried to start this thread also in IA was unable to
What conditions are allowing this growth so early in the morning? RAWS that I have seen in the area don’t seem unusual. What direction is it spreading?
Sounded like they had a down canyon wind on it. Im sure the acreage will be adjusted once its daylight.
If you take a look at the location, this area is in the upper third of a sizable box canyon with or without the rfw, it is a "micro " environment. If you have ever driven the skyway to magalia , to your left is a verticle bluff. 10 + years ago personally chased fire that came out of that drainage and ran to Butte college under a north wind event. This was the icp, that had to be defensively fired
Any eastern movement puts magalia proper in the crosshairs
No smoke visible from Chico at 10am.
Things are pretty danged dry. At Carpenter Ridge, up near Cohasset, RH didn’t get much over 25% last night, already below 18% today.
