Not a good area to have a fire on any day, but especially so during a RFW. This area can be heavily influenced by down canyon winds. The area is steep, with many volcanic features that create cliffs. Heavy fuels; timber and brush. This will be a long firefight to hold the fire. Early up on the aircraft should help.

T93 already on the second run this morning. T1 copter spooling up at Chico. Sheriff will pull the pin on evacs if this crosses Centerville Road. Copter 205 ordered up.
Stick a fork in this one. Good fast attack early in the morning. Aircraft haven’t flown it for hours and now C205 released returning to TGU. Strong work!
