Not seeing many spots being thrown from the cameras. Hard to tell but looks to be burning cleanly. Time will tel an still early. Yesterday cameras didn’t slow down till 8pm

Are you looking at the same pictures that the rest of us are looking at?!
Hard to summarize but they are trying to get after it hard in Mill Creek. Charlies and Limas pushing in to see what they can do.
Golfs now, too. Cutting line around small spots.
Watch duty indicating spot across 172 near Mineral summit and is butting the firing op from last night along 172. Saw quite a bit of rotation not long ago. Gonna be quite the fight to hold it. Anyone on that firing op that can speak on the quality of the burn in the op?
Rushed but burned well
This is what my son had to say about it:
“I was on the backend of the strike team as they were burning up the road quite a ways. It ended up backfiring and burning over the area where we were at. Got pretty sporty. The fire quality is pretty damn good right now, lol. We pulled out after working some sh*t hoselays. We’re gonna go defend Mill Creek cabins soon it sounds like.”
Thank you for this. Burning fire with fire is always risky. Fingers crossed.
This was kind of what I was thinking happened, the areas they were claiming slop over on should have been shielded from the op. Sounded like they lost the back burn a little. Did the firing continue into the day or discontinue prior to morning?
Continued through the day up until about an hour or two ago, by my best understanding.
Where did the burning start and stop?
The norcalscan Park feed is back online - the 48hrs I went off the grid in 350 days of up time and the computer decides to throw a fit then.
I don’t have that info.
Edit: There’s an updated Ops map from about 1pm. You can see the firing ops in Div TW.

Looks similar from Quincy…
What’s that on the Inskip 1 camera?!
