CA-BTU-Stoney ???

What is the command channel for this fire? Haven’t heard a peep all morning.

Command 7 I believe…

I just heard a short conversation between ECC and ATGS on Butte Support but it has been in the scan list all along, Command 7 also but nothing there.

Cmd7 had a blip of traffic, and is in my live scanner list, but I don’t think the fire is producing a lot of command-net traffic yet. I don’t scan BTU Local or Support normally so can’t tell you there, they were silent as I listened driving in to work. Air Attack has been talking directly to Chico Air Base on base victor so not much logistics over FM from him either.

Yep Command 7 is confirmed as the command channel.

Thanks for the confirmation - either it’s quiet, or I’m out of range of that tone. They have a tone up on Bloomer and I know Bloomer typically comes in multipath or scratchy into my live scanner. I think there’s another tone up on Colby, but that would be booming into me.

I can’t hear it down here either. Very strange.

I heard some AA traffic on Butte Support as well but nothing since.

Now they are chatting on Butte Support so I guess the mystery is solved, I guess the fire is not very active.

Have they started releasing anyone, I heard they were mopping it up.
