Fire on Sam Jones Road, in the area of last years fire?
FHL unit is making his way into the incident, stating that its on private property and in the SRA.
BEU is going to start aircraft as soon as they have coordinates.

There is also a separate fire on Camp Roberts that was 3/4 of an acre about 30 ago.

BEU and FHL resources responding to a working fire, with a structure involved, on Sam Jones Road approximately 1 mile passed the green bridge. Full response from both agencies, with a large column visible.

This should be in the area of Bald Mountain, which is the border of FHL and BEU, near the Bryson-Hesperia community.

Structures are threatened. IC is requesting 2 additional crews to the fire. Potential for at least 200 acres.

AA on scene reporting 2 acres, transitioning to brush , sros, potential for 20 acres. However, knowing this area and the weather, there is a decent amount of potential there if things deteriorate.

AA requested two more additional tankers, making it a total of 6, plus the training platform out of Porterville.

It would not surprise me, if the fire does continue to progress, that any future alarms might respond through Lockwood on Interlake Road, for structure protection.

40 acres, with spotting, potential for 500

…not a surprise at all. They’ll need to start looking at the Bryson-Hesperia community pretty soon.

LCES, as many wildfires @ FHL tend to be unpredictable in those areas.

Aaaand there you go. Evacuation advisories for Copperhead, which is part of the Bryson-Hesperia community. There should be some pretty significant resource orders coming down the pipeline fairly shortly
