Smoke with slight build off Meadow lakes Cam, SW of community/radios sites at Meadow Lakes east of Auberry. Say near Mile High and Meadow Lakes, access Auberry Road.

Off Beal Fire Rd

Calfire opened that section of Beal fire Rd up a lot for the creek fire, lots of grass there now but less brush.
Yep, I saw that they were widening that fire road during the Creek. Chiefs were calling for it to back down to Auberry but the AA15 did one heck of a great job many heavy tankers going round robin holding it east of Auberry road. There were 4 heli-tankers running in between the tanker runs. With grass growing back it’s only good for tankers to reinforce for fire running up hill.
Interesting info, last fire there was 1931 and in 1900 was the Beal fire break burn.
I haven’t found any burned charred fuels during the hundreds of hours clearing fuels around the meadow lakes radio sites. Many spots haven’t had a human foot on them for 80 years until I cleaned them up.
