There is still an active cell in the area that AA is wary of.
Cell follows highway 41 from the county line east, and the 2nd section of the cell is centered over Avenal.

Tankers 74,75, 76,78 still making drops. request replacement for 160 that was diverted has been filed. Tanker fill is 160 again (been released to return to fire).
Tankers and copters drops are checking the spread of the fire.
No ground resources have yet the make it to the base of the fire.

IC just requested 8 crews in any configuration, type or agency. Will have great difficulty holding the fire if he can’t get boots on the ground. The box will significantly increase if the order is not filled.

AA reports 550acres.
Not much smoke off the cam.
Still trying to make a drive in access for direct attack with engines.
About 13:40: spot outside the line. crews moving to the black.
Request Tankers to launch. Haven’t heard numbers.

Heard tac traffic about going direct and indirect with dozers and firing out the indirect lines. Don’t know if they ever got within pumping/hoselay distance.
At 08:00 AA did get 4 tankers assigned and dispatched.
At11:00 IC is moving WT support. Maybe they made hose lay access.

Updated acreage 1420 and a firing operation was successful today. FKU ECC told the IC starting tomorrow the incident will have no aircraft.

Private helicopter had a hard landing outside of the fire and started a new one. The new fire is 20 acres.
