AA430 dispatched to cottonwood incident but was unable to cross through the thunderstorms.
Located in the cottonwood lakes complex south of Mt. Langley and due east of Army Pass. Checked cams, can’t see in there.
A second fire hard to be seen on Olancha cam is the “Soda Incident” ( was OVCC BLM fire) west of town of Haiwee (on hwy 395) seems to be burning upslope up canyon actively. The cam is not staying on it…Time laps I believe might make it more evident. Weather and dirty air makes it difficult.
They have a “wells fire” east of Mono Lake and “dobe fire” shows north of Benton crossing but in Nevada state. Satellite detection is not seeing this last fire. Queen Bee and June Lake cams are not looking at these two fires.
