Reports of Alpha strike teams being mobilized from Region 1 South Ops to the Blue Fire  Not a good sign when there’s a heck of a lot of type 1 engines between the Klamath and Los Angeles

Weird, tonights’ 209 doesn’t have any T1’s as critical resource needs

Been up that way a few times on overhead assignments. Doesn’t really seem like alpha territory. But hey . . .Send It!

They’re worried about it impacting Seiad Valley and the Highway 96 corridor.

They just sent out an evacuation order for Seiad Valley, stronger winds than anticipated from the southeast are likey pushing the fire through the walker creek drainage area.

Edit: The Blue Fire continued to grow today & is crossing some of the initial attack lines, but the big fear at this point is that the winds are going push it towards the north towards Walker & Seiad Valley, so there are serious concerns. There will be 5 strike teams of engines prepping houses & continuing to prepare for a blow-up if it occurs per Klamath NF
