40-50 acres burned active through the night chewed through the retardant in some spots. Additionally sounds like another 40-50 ish acre fire was found on the KNF - KNF jacket
Gotta love how a 50 acre timber fire can “hide” on the Klamath with all of the technology these days.

Per ONCC News and Notes this morning:
CA-KNF Marble Complex : 294 acres timber, 0% contained. The complex consists of the previously reported Jacket (50 acres) and Summit (244 acres) fires. Threats exist to structures and cultural resources with Evacuation Orders and Warnings in effect. Area and trail closures are also in effect. CIIMT 9 (Gould) will asssume command at 0700 today.
The Summit had a decent capped-out column around 1800 yesterday.
