Kern is shuffling some resources around to assign them to this fire. Kern has had multiple fires the last few days that are still in mop up status and have resources assigned.
A Santa Barbara Strike team is in Kern responding to this incident.

South ops UTF on 2 of the type 1 tanker orders, asking to replace them with type 3s. Traffic was walked over, so don’t know what he decided.

5:54pm Fire now has a slow rate of spread and is burning between levees. Revised to 75 acres. Resources will be committed for ≈3 hours. Fire named the #ParamountFire. Kern County
