5:21pm 3 additional wildland engines and 1 additional copter requested - per radio traffic.
5:11pm Note this incident was determined to be in San Luis Obispo County just S/W of the Kern County line, both counties have been added and will receive updates for this fire.
4:54PM Fire is now approx 10 acres with a Moderate to Rapid rate of spread - per Incident Command.
4:50PM Fire is approx 5 acres in grass and brush with a Slow to Moderate rate of spread - per unit at scene.
4:41PM Reported vegetation fire with smoke visible on the fire cameras. Resources enroute. Location is approx at this time and is subject to change.

Looks like the fire got out of the box and has advanced up the slope quite a ways in the last 30 or so minutes
