New fire in Kern, near Bena/Caliente Bodfish Road.
Boulevard AA is releasing the Lead and tankers to go to this incident, AA410 coming out of Porterville.
Tanker 78 dropped on the fire, 5 acres moderate rate of spread, no ground units on scene yet.

50 acres per AA, couldn’t make out of the traffic, but AA stated should be able to hold it to 70 acres if something holds(think he was saying retardant but not sure)
Looks like the retardant has significantly slowed the fire.

Ground crews are just arriving on scene.
On the cameras the fire looks stopped.
AA just placed an order for 1 additional type 1 tanker though.

AA is now canceling the additional type 1 tanker that he ordered.
H-522 is in to Bakersfield for fuel, and will not be able to return to the fire.
