FIRIS has it at 766 acres, VLAT enroute

Evacuation warning just now turned Evac order for KRN-145,146,165.

AA requesting VLAT. 5 tankers total.

KRN resources spread very thin at the moment.

1300 acre olive fire on the other side of the county.

And Berry incident in the northern side foothills. Luckily FROS stopped on that one.

Resources getting very thin indeed. Sharp Fire is having a hard time getting T3 engines. And the real start of the heat wave is still 24-36 hours away. What happens tomorrow with all the idiots and their fireworks :grimacing:

You must be talking about SoCal, because today is the hottest day in NorCal. Not that it’s going to cool much for several days, maybe another week.

Looks like things have settled down quite a bit…

Ya So Cal. Today is the “coolest” day down here for at least the next 7-10 days. Palm Springs calling for 123 on Friday. They are forecast to have 3 straight days above 119. Never happened before.

redding, sac, the tahoe area and many other foothill communities are forecast to be hotter over the next 4 days than today with significant drying in lower and mid elevation areas prime for fireworks
