Got a good one Cecil Ave x Quinn rd.
20 acres MROS. Potential for 100+ if it jumps the road.
Don’t get much closer on the cameras than this one. Pretty much a live stream of the action

Seems to be a lot of early fires in Kern County this year. Is there a local Bug or simply careless people?
30 acres aircraft released. Font think it ended up jumping the highway. They’re getting ready reopen NB to traffic.
Feels pretty typical for Kern to me… Lots of grass fires and some oil fields plus the solar farm ones. I’ve been impressed with how small they’ve been keeping them.
AA410 caught a guy a few months ago by the grapevine. Arson arrested him before rate of spread was stopped.
There’s a guy in KRV that is a fire bug. Mostly trash cans but some time grass. He’s on the radar from what I’ve heard.
Most of the time is people with dragging chains or exhaust sparks. Kern had a lot of green growth this year. I’m honestly surprised there haven’t been more in the usual spots like grade up 58, 223, or the Grapevine.
Update: Spoke too soon on the grapevine….
