New start on the north side of lake Isabella.

Smoke showing on the camera.

This one will be interesting due to access issues. All responding units have to go all the way around the lake since the road to the east was washed out months ago and 155 is closed due to Caltrans repairing it from the snow/storm damage.

This will be a helo show for the first hour or so.

Fire requesting law enforcement to evacuate Stein Cove camping area.

Forest service and one kern patrol on scene. 2 acres moderate rate of spread. Heading parallel to Sierra highway. The lake is at 88% capacity so H408 will be able to make some pretty quick drops.

Most Kern resources have been diverted to another fire. Contract helo and local lake units got this one under control.
IC requesting arson to respond and sounds like they have a pretty good suspect and suspect vehicle description.
