CA-KRN-Turbine??

Cruising thru the cams and see this. Appears to be a large windmill on fire. This is showing NW of Lancaster and now appears it into the veg

Appears to be something else besides veg burning between the two hills as well.

I believe this is the KRN Turbine Fire 14500 Block of Tehachapi Willow Springs Road

Fully involved wind turbine with spread to approx 2 acres of vegetation with a Slow to Moderate rate of spread and a potential for 100 acres - per the first arriving unit and Air Attack.

The fire is now approx 50 acres with a potential for 100 to 120 acres. Ground crews are making good progress on the left flank and there is retardant along the left shoulder coming across the head - per Air Attack.

Incident Command has requested 4 additional wildland units.

Response video from one of the buffs in the area. Shows the unique conditions with fires on that face of the mountains of Mojave. Plus some extra resources from across the country in the area assisting. I believe the red apparatus is from New Jersey. Some of the KRV pages have mention the red trucks with roll cages.
