New Fire in LAC, FS149 Castaic | 31050 Charlie Canyon Rd | SU48 on scene advising 3+ acres in light to medium fuels at the top of the ridge. Slight wind from the West. E-149 advising the Fire is in SRA with a threat to the ANF.

IC advising 10 plus acres now and running. Requesting Air Tankers. IC also requesting a second alarm and advising no road access to the fire. Quebec 1 and 2 also en route from Van Nuys. HT-731 also responding.

my guess is that this will be handled by a LAC team; possibly in joint with ANF. This fire is laying down and unless it gets away LAC has the teams to handle it

I see it staying an ICT3 fire. With ANF personel. With LACFD in unified comand. Fire looks to be co-operating . Great catch by all.

Thinking containment numbers will rise and this will probably be turned over to ANF local…unless it continues to stay with the large amount of resources on it. The folks running the fire at this time seem to be doing a great job.
