It’s bumping up against the Bobcat burn scar, from a few years back that burned up to the site.

1/9/25 pm press conference update:
Cal Fire Team 3 assigned to coordinate recovery operations
13,690 acres, continuing to move in direction of Mt Wilson
0% containment
1527 personnel assigned, mutual aid resources continue to arrive
firefighter injury from a fall this morning, stable condition expected to fully recover.
Potential structures damaged or destroyed estimates in the 4000 - 5000 range
Cause is still unknown/under investigation
upd:
LA County Sheriff expecting to enact (and enforce) curfews in the burn areas tonight

We were having comm troubles last night. Copters couldn’t reach LA dispatch on A/G but we could from helibase.
