My son is flying in Bravo-53 and said swapping out to a second A/G was necessary due to radio inference from Baja.

Fire jumped the dozer and retardant lines and is now into Mandeville Canyon. More evacuations.

Curious has LAC Helispot 69B been damaged by the fire? Looking at the maps, the fire front is right there.

Also appears the Santa Ynez Helispot may of been burned over?

The news stated 69A was hit and minor damage with loss of a truck. I assumed they meant 69B. The fixed mono cameras are off line.

The fire is in Mandeville Canyon on the West side. Is also into Sullivan Canyon per ABC 7 helicopter.

Sacramento Fire has deployed their Urban Search & Rescue Team, CA TF-7, to the Palisades Fire to assist with search and recovery efforts.

The fire is making a big run on the NW side. This will be problematic if the fire outflanks the previous burn area as it can run back towards the ocean when the offshore winds pick up.
