Any idea of what freq HELCO or Air Attack is on?
Air Tactics 6 for the AA
Tanker 122 in the mix now from MCC.
It is definitely a dynamic situation when they dispatch a Redondo Beach engine that is in staging to LA City Fire station 23 (17281 Sunset Blvd, PP), due to a still alarm that the station is on fire.
Current coverage is good, albeit sometimes not as current or accurate, but the live streaming and radio traffic can be compelling

Intel 12 is over the fire now so hopefully we get a update soon on acreage.
Sounds like LA City wants all Brush Patrols and Type 3 dispatched.
Air Attack just Requested the Type 3s out of Hemet and Ramona.
Estimated 100 vehicles abandoned on sunset … impassable.
LAFD STA 23 being protected by an Alpha ST at the moment.
Additional aircraft requests out of HMT and FOX
Heavy Equipment requested to move all abandoned vehicles. #DOZER
Here we are in January and we already are having a wind event and a fire in the Wui combined that with the lack of measurable rain fall in California well south ops. This could be a sign of what’s to come
I heard that as well…Type 3 = VLATs (DC-10s)? They have both at Hemet & Ramona?
Hemet and Ramona have the type 3 tankers - S-2’s they will be able to get into the canyons better then the LAT’s that are working the fire
I’ve heard Both 9270C and 9240C arrive, AEU & SHU respectively. Were these STC Preplanned in SoCal?
There were a number of CalFire STs shipped out yesterday. 9140C and 9170C as well as others.
Affirm. Multiple CF Strike teams were moved down yesterday covering Ventura to San Diego.
ANF has TF 1600 assigned to this inc.
