Someone already mentioned that this fire looks like it’s choosing the same path as the 96 Marple fire . That is what it looks like to me, I was one of the I/A dozers (open cab D8) unloaded on the old ridge route, put dozerline around a couple of houses and ended up that night camping out at the old warm spring’s lookout, then up to sawmill. I remember a lot of spotting on that one. Does anyone remember how the super scoopers got started originally?
