CA-LFD-Colorado??

New fire in Los Angeles City 2’s area at Colorado Blvd X 2 Freeway, E42 on scene of 1 acre of heavy fuels going at a moderate ROS with structure threat. The fire just jumped the 134 Fwy.

Update: this is the Colorado Incident. IC requesting 4 additional Engines and 1 BC, Fire has spotted north of the 134 Freeway.

IC requesting 2 Strike Teams of Engines immediate need for structure protection. Update: per Helco, Fire has spotted ahead of itself, Fire is now threatening structures, launching Helitanker out of Van Nuys.

About 20 acres and the fire has Crested the ridge and backing down towards structures.

You are correct. Holding at an estimated 30 acres, with UAS mapping underway that may offer a more specific figure. Most importantly, no injuries or structure damage. Though fire extended into the City of Glendale, the point of origin (cause under investigation) was in the City of Los Angeles,

22:00 Monday, August 26, 2019: Estimated 45 acres after several flareups. 70% contained. One Glendale FD member with minor injury.
