Area C Type I STEN’s XLC 1204A and XLC 1203A redeployed from Sandlewood in RRU (immediate need) to Saddle Ridge. These are mixed agency teams from the Pasadena, Glendale area including South Pasadena, San Gabriel, Monrovia, Arcadia and Monterey Park.
On another note, this looks just like the 2008 Sayre Fire did.

Sounds like Branch I is the east side, in Sylmar and Branch II is west of the 5 Fwy in Granada Hills

Aerial attack getting a big boost w/ large air tankers T02 T105 T137 & T168 arriving over the fire now w/ T911 (#VLAT) getting ready @ San Bernardino. Both of the super scoopers now also over the fire.

CHP Traffic Los Angeles showing hard closure of slow lanes on the I-5 Truck Route @ SR14 for what they are calling flare-ups from Saddle Ridge fire. Anyone have info on this? Could be nothing.
I heard LAFD dispatch tell LAC dispatch to cancel their response to the area for a fire, quoted the IC, the incident would take care of the flare up. Quite breezy today. This was about an hour and a half ago.
