Structures on fire in Porter Ranch, Celtic Way.
LFD mandatory evacuations from Sesnon Boulevard to Ventura County line.
Order for 20 type 1 St immediate need plus the strike teams that were previously ordered for the morning
Any further updates? Another CF Charlie st inbound
What is a good resource to track where orders are coming from, would like to track how far north they are ordering from. Thanks.
I was listening to the radio traffic from the IC to dispatch
NEU formed up a CF S/T at 10:30 this morning. Unclear if their mission is to the fire or coverage backfill somewhere in the middle
Looks like activity is picking up. The column is capped out!
Yep, definitely a pick-up in activity over the last hour, from what Iām seeing on the TV coverage. They were hoping to open I-5 at 1300, but the fire is encroaching on the freeway again north of the 14 interchange.
Report from a relative they are being asked to evacuate in Chatsworth, west of Topanga Canyon, near Devonshire.
Had a wind change about an hour ago. From the NNE to a little more East. That allowed the fire to align with the north side of Oat MTN, which had very heavy fuel, near solid oak forest.
Has anyone heard what this strike team is doing?
Who is running this thing? LAFD type 3 IMT? LACo? Certainly Type 1 complexity.
As of 1000 this morning I was told at the ICP they were going to run a blended team of LAFD and LACof
Iām not exactly sure what you are asking. But the Modoc NF sent a Type 3 strike team today
