Looks like LA Camp 9 has the best focused view although it is obscured by a hill in the foreground.
Star Mtn has a better angle but is way out of focus
Activating command post rig. Per IC 15-20 acres with potential for 100 acres. Immediate structure threat and attempting to contain inside a perimeter.
Request to shut down the 210 fwy. Fire has jumped the freeway
ABC7 Air7HD is providing live footage
LA County Copters 15 and 17 on scene.
5 type I strike teams requested.
Air Attack 51 off Fox inbound to the fire.

25 engines immediate need.
ANF for fed mission, 4 Crews, 2 Charlies
ANF Copter 531 off Fox enroute to the fire. There are at least 2 helispots set up possibly 3.
Spotted well West over the 5 freeway
Headed for Porter Ranch, then Simi Valley
They need to put a priority on that spot fire across the five or it’s gonna burn to simi…
There is a major Socal gas facility in front of the spot about 1 or 2 miles away.
It is well established on the northwest side of 5. That has a high likelihood of taking most or all of Oat Mtn
Some of the air to air traffic is scratchy on my scanner but it sounds like the copters are not going to catch the spot fire. The sunshine landfill helispot has been shut down due to smoke and they are working on getting different helispot set up. LA city is going to set up their air ops HQ at Van Nuys as a helispot.
The spot fire is 50 to 100 acres now
