1-10 has an AA, 2 tankers, 2 seats, and 2 copters working it currently.

The S-2s returned to Chico, the Seats are on base Chester, and the AA is off the fire.

Fires 4-2, 4-3, 4-4 all near the east side of Alturas. Wind seems to be fairly brisk on the cameras.

The numbering of the fires in NE CA is that BLM or CALFIRE and how does it work.

Helicopter 553 From Ravendale, AA17V from Chester, Tanker 94 from Redding, assigned to one of the lightning fire incidents. I think the ones near Alturas, but canā€™t confirm.

These are CalFire numbersā€” denote the batallion, and the fire number when in the lightning plan.

It could be either/or.
Right now I think the numbered fires with 2 numbers as in 1-4 are Calfire. BLM I think is numbering them with Letters and Numbers ie R-2

In LMU the lightning fires are recorded by battalion (1-, 2-, 3-, 4-). The federal agencies use initials: LNF would use E- for Eagle District, etc., NOD would use R- for Ravendale District, etc., and the LNP would use P-. If a fire becomes significant it can be renamed.

Tankers 94 and 95 are almost together, 95 was coming from Chico, and 94 had to divert around a storm cell. Still working their way towards the fire.

AA17V looks to be having the same issues, working around storms to get to the incident.

Wind has let up, on the fire the camera was pointed at, 4-3 or 4-4. Looking much better without the wind on it.

152 Acres Per AA. Fire is holding.
