That fire is west of Susanville near the 36. For appears to be chunking away well. Only 1 helicopter on it currently. Seems to be staying out of the canopy so far.

I believe this to be the 1-4 fire. The IC is requesting copter 202 be diverted from the incident they are on (near Eagle Lake. Additionally asking for AA and 2 tankers, 2 SEATS from Chester.
Calling it 4-5 acres.
The column is leaning over pretty significantly right now.

It is confirmed to be fire 1-4. It’s along the 36 near devils corral rd.

Chester is extremely low on fuel, ECC telling AA to send tankers to Chico for fuel.

Sounds like the dozer has hooked the spot, (Was working with the copter before it went for fuel) and a large majority of the right flank.

Chester may be low on fuel because of a jet fuel contamination issue for Northern Cal that was found yesterday, it was talked about at morning briefing today.
