Not too much information, new start near the junction of Highway 49 and Highway 70. Hard closure in effect with evacuations in progress.

I can’t find any info, no cameras are looking at it, just a Lassen County scanner traffic; but there’s a fire with high rate of spread in the Doyle area, headed for Herlong and into Washoe County. Numerous structures involved. Very serious emerging incident. Can’t be this same fire can it?
Gulch fire. 10-15 acres.

Looks like one of them fires that burn like mad out front of the storm system that comes in.
150 acres. 5% contained. No structures lost.
