The Engines and dozers are being used for contingency work and structure prep if it gets up and moves to the south towards Cambellville
Things have been looking real good all day. AA just did a transition, not a single bucket mission during previous Air Attack’s cycle out. Cargo missions are finished for the day. Helitack crews will be extracted later this evening.

June 12, 2022 — Activity on the Graham Fire has been moderate with a small amount of growth over the last 24 hours. The fire area experienced light precipitation overnight.
Yesterday: Crews continued to build containment lines around the perimeter of the fire. Engine crews also worked in the Campbellville community doing structure preparation. Acreage on the fire increased from 100 acres to 153 acres.
Today: Crews will continue to reinforce containment lines, increasing the distance between the containment lines and the interior of the fire, and eliminating any hot spots. Fire Behavior: Today’s fire behavior is expected to be low to moderate with smoldering and creeping fire. With the potential for thunderstorm activity later today, fire behavior can be affected. The fire is burning in Grass Shrub, Brush, and Timber. Weather: Showers are likely in the morning hours with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures will be down approximately 6 degrees with an increase in relative humidity. Couple of things on the fire. The Type 2 IMT did not take command of the fire. The IA troops and air show did a great job and the fire is looking much better. The Type 2 Team also stayed in tact so if the predicted wind and/or lightning event caused any issues they were there to immediately take to fire. The Type 2 Team will stay in place is a support mode for a couple of days assisting with logistics, finance issues, etc. and are looking at demob on Tuesday. Kind of different but it makes sense.
I think that was a smart play.
Does anybody know if that Huey flying over the Graham is demob or if he is making drops?
More then likely it is doing shuttle missions to remove some of the crews and/or flying supplies in or backhauling equipment and supplies.
