New fire. I believe it’s in BTU. Helicopter from Vina is flying the fire (I guess Vina is night qualified?)

That’s the L-1 fire on the Lassen. CalFire and the FS went through the process to allow night flying on Fed incidents.
Ground personnel on scene. 3 to 3.5 acres with additional personnel responding.

FF’s now have hose lay around the fire & handline construction is approx 80% complete, updated @ 04:50 Hose lay & hand line now completely around the fire.
