Yolo County has a grass fire in the Fremont Weir Wildlife Area just West of Sac International Airport, visible from Interstate 5. It started last night and due to the terrain/canals they monitored it through the night with no attempt to extinguish it. The wind has picked up and now they’ve sent a county task force to it. Last report I heard was 500+ acres

Yolo Sheriff has been requested to evacuate the numerous homeless camps along the levee that are directly in the path of the fire
