Does anyone know how far this is from the Hennessy burn?

Roughly 8.5 miles.

8 miles East? That would put it over Hwy 16 and by cache creek casino??

yes sorry the hennessey is due east of this event

The Hennessy burn is 8 miles east of the Glass Inc. The new start is about 22 west of Brooks.

A map always helps , thank you :+1:t3:

If they can get the dozers in to top of Summit Lake Dr., Angwin, they can anchor in to the new dozer line from the Hennessey and work down that ridge line. If this gets up into Bell Canyon, access is very limited into that area.

Models have consistently shown a burst of winds between now and 11 am. Basically the morning inversion breaking up and the winds aloft mix down. This is 9 am surface wind gusts. Orange is 50 knots. Model is 3km resolution WRF.
