The Featherlight Place location he just mentioned is well within the housing development. Not exactly peripheral stuff. Fire ops just stated ‘people are panicking here’. Traffic has become gridlocked getting out of this area.

Traffic Conditions Indicate widespread gridlock in the area ahead of advancing fire-front just East of Santa Rosa-Skyhawk Development
Per the scanner, fire is at Highway 12 and Melita…south of Santa Rosa on 12

Fires has made it to Pythian and moving south west. Mandatory evacs south to Adobe Canyon and warning to Nuns Canyon in Glen Ellen. Not sure what’s happening to the north.

Fire has now moved into Santa Rosa Skyhawk area with multiple residential structures burning. Fire now jumping from one to the next home under high wind conditions. Another report has more fire jumping Highway 12 at Oakmount Drive, ~ two miles South and East of Skyhawk conflagration.

Updated evac area
Fire has now crossed over highway 12. Into Oakmont. Pythian/Melita rd areas. Redcom sent out another all county page for all available personnel. Drove through there on ambualnce evacs; fire is moving through and spotting where ever it wants.

Resources heading to Oakmont for structure protection. For those that don’t know Oakmont is mainly a 55+ community
I live about four miles from this fire and for the past hour or so I have heard several explosions that sound like propane tanks going off. Anybody else in the area heard these?
(Out on injury so don’t get to fight this one.)
Any predicted weather, is this going to make its way South towards Kenwood/Glen Ellen/Sonoma?
Just heard traffic Reporting multiple spots coming down into Rincon Valley. Maria Carrillo High School also threatened.
