Resources are working on keeping the fire contained within the road system on the valley floor and top of the ridge. Localized evacuations are being conducted by Colusa County law enforcement. The fire can be viewed on the Goat Mountain 2 camera at the link below. ALERTCalifornia
The fire is now estimated at 2,000 to 2,500 acres with a continued Moderate to Rapid rate of spread. Terrain and wind driven with short and long range spotting - per Incident Command.
An additional 25 engines and 10 dozers have been requested.
