Just for clarification that is 2 different fires in that picture

How far are the two fires separated?

Stay homeā€¦ make callsā€¦but whatever you do, do not just show up. I made a flippant remark awhile ago and should not haveā€¦ just do not show up unless called. These folks are up to their necks with alligators. Be patient and do it right. hats off to you wanting to assistā€¦but do it right

The Stewart fire is the foreground with the Walbridge behind. The camera just compresses the image.

This morning they threw a couple of S-2ā€™s and a copter at it because they didnā€™t want it to become a problem child. Figured to make it 20 acres or less. Well working on it all day it still chugs along. So much for that plan.

Good thing though, itā€™s burning on a peninsula between the Warm Spring and Dry Creek arms of the lake. If it burns that out no where to go but back up to the north west. Guess that went to a lower priority.

The IR hits show it on the south side of the lake, so does the camera view.

Yes, nothing new overnight.

I saw potential 15-20 mph winds this afternoon out of the West. That would push it closer to Healdsburg and Windsor if that is the case.

Hopefully if the winds arenā€™t to strong they can hold it at the river or catch it in the flats before it hits town.

Sounds like aircraft is not going to be very effective. They will work on point protection for structures where able in the Mill Creek Rd area.

Was there a change in communication channels this morning? 8/20/20? I heard they are on Comms 2ā€¦ I know they were on cmd6.

Yes, the entire LNU Complex shifted to different channels this morning.
