This spot is notorious for illegal campfires. One local volunteer fire fighter has personally put out two other fires here. Locals patrol it during fire season and walk back there to tell people to put their fires out. The only reason this one got any attention was because this was the second one in two weeks, in the middle of winter. If it had been the only one, it wouldn’t have even rated a mention.
