Fire started late last night. Moderated now in the early morning.

I believe this is called the " Range " fire. Dozers and 1st and 2nd alarms made good progress last night.

Air Attack mapped it at 99 acres and stated there was really only one area left with significant heat. Crews were accessing it as he was reporting.

Update from LPF: The Range Fire on the Santa Barbara Ranger District on Happy Canyon Road is approximately 150 acres. Forward rate of spread has been stopped. A dozen or more engines on scene, hand crews en route, air tankers ordered & ready. Thanks to @ SBCOUNTYFIRE for their assistance.
