Lead plane is just coming on scene. There was an order for 4 additional tankers, and they are currently enroute.
20 acres, moderate rate of spread, winds are picking up, and there could possibly be some structures threatened at the top of Plaskett Ridge Road.
Lots of equipment coming up Plaskett road. Having dozers stage on hwy 1 for the time being until they can make access.
Advising to hold residents in place until fire equipment stages off road
No update on the fire. LPF added a DIVS, Dozer and crew to response and additional equipment was dispatched from surrounding agencies earlier this afternoon.
AA and Lead are talking about starting to put some aircraft on load and hold.

New wildfire atop Plaskett Ridge reported at 1:40pm is 50+ acres.
sending a strike team of engines, multiple 20-person hand crews as well as helos & fixed wing air tankers. 400+ personnel on scene or en route.
