10 -15 acre Fire on Camp Pendleton in the De Luz area. Not much more info available but smoke is visible. Cal Fire has also sent resources to assist. Anyone with more info?
I did find that fire is in the Hotel Training and Impact Area. It poses no Structure Threat at this time. The size may be closer to 20 acres. Generally they don’t throw a bunch of Folks on the ground inside the Impact Zones due to obvious safety concerns.
Update at 1230: pm:
Air Tankers have Retardant all the way around the Fire and have been released. Fire will be monitored.
