CA-MEU-Oak???

And just clarifying for people who might be a little confused:

Oak Fire is burning in Mendocino (locals call it “Mendo”) County
August Complex is burning in Mendocino National Forest which covers a bunch of different counties and is burning in Glenn, Tehama, Lake, Mendo and Trinity Counties.

I usually don’t touch Team talk with a 10ft pole, but to clarify, CIIMT5 this morning has taken the TGU Elkhorn and the Hopkins fire from MNF-August and made them the SHF-Rock Complex. The Southern Blue team still has the rest of the MNF August minus “Hopkins”.

Also, Doe and Elkhorn connected last night, and Elkhorn and Hopkins connected. So it’s continuous black, 50 miles north and 40 miles west.

7 posts were merged into an existing topic: 2020 IMT Discussion

They haven’t added a single thing since starting it!
https://ftp.nifc.gov/public/incident_specific_data/calif_n/!CALFIRE/!2020_Incidents/CA-MEU-010700_Oak/

They also are not adding their daily reports (the one above I posted yesterday) to Box. They posted one to Instagram (whyyyyy) and the other was on Twitter.

Thanks Jake, I understand CalFire IMT4 that was on the Elkhorn incident has or is in process of returning to Silver Dollar fairgrounds in Chico .

Yes I believe so, at least to fill until something else comes along. They were “timed” out up here on Elkhorn, for whatever that means this season. I think they were using their old Branches from the Butte zone of the complex.

Hwy 101 has reopened.

…had to happen since there is an overturned semi truck on Hwy 1 which was being used as an alternate route…
