Vegetation fire Coulterville in then Horseshoe bend area 10 acres heading upslope in brush per AA
Ground resources still making access
20 acres 5 additional engines 2 additional crews and 2 additional water tenders and 1 additional dozer
A lot of old burn scares in that area. Lots of dead and down in them. Still putting up a decent header from the house. Pretty fast turn around for the ship (C-606) with lake McClure right there.
I’m staying in a trailer home in Jamestown at the moment. There’s a trio of S2’s refilling at Columbia, flying back & forth right over my head. Go get 'em, guys, much respect.
[Lost my apartment in a fire back in January, I might tell that story when I’ve got a new house.]
Tankers 79,80,83, and 121 working with AA440. also have Cfr658 leaving porterville.
Lima and Charlie responding from Fku
33 acres retardant around the fire significant resource commitment into the night.
They have been hammering that fire for about 4 hours now. With fix wing and rotor. C-130 a very nice addition to the fleet. Not peak staffing so it takes a few more resources to get things done. It’s laid down can only see drift from the house.
Sounds like it’s been holding at 33 acres for awhile now early season but good stop regardless anything but flat on that side of the lake lol
