AA-440 reporting things looking better, firing operation at the head of the fire is holding for now with no spots across the firing op. Starting to get the flanks tied in with retardant & dozer line. No update on acreage.

IC requesting 5 additional closest engines immediate need for structure protection on the eastern side of the fire. Structures threatened there in the next 30 minutes per AA-440. Spots 1/4 mile out in front.

Pendola Gardens, I believe, is the gathering of structures out in front, then hwy49 north could be a holding road.
